Misinformation.

Hi

We are not ready for Brexit, no matter what some say.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-53101542

We are the ones who have backed down.

This not what I voted for.

Yes I want a deal, to protect jobs.

What I do not want is giving the EU an advantage in the negotiations.

Bluff and bluster is no advantage in negotiations, the other side need to know we can deliver and put them at risk.

The EU can impose controls on day one, we cannot.

I am disgusted by this, a failure on our part.

I would not give France, Germany and Co an inch, it weakens our position.

We are giving the EU leeway, they are not, they are ready.

Will be get a Deal, yes, but to the advantage of the EU.

Goods but not Services.

Zero Tariffs on goods, which are the biggest EU Export to the UK, but not on Services, our biggest Export to the EU.

Boris will claim a huge win on Fisheries and we will be taking back control of them but the kicker is nothing will change.

I dont see that Swimmy, lf we take controll of fisheries as you say?
Then surely we wil do what the eu did and incrementally transfer
the advantage back to uk again, so things will change on that front??
On goods we dont have to do anything as they will change by
themselves as we buy more and more from else where and food
prices are likely to be noticeably cheaper as we will not charge
tariffs as we have to at the moment if goods come from a third
country?
On the services, they must take their chances bt as the vast majority
of their income is derived from outside eu they should not be too
discomfited by any disruption??
The fact that uk is able to pay for our considerable trade deficit with
EU plus the billions in membership fees is proof of where our
services industry garners its income??

I think swims means that, even if on paper the UK takes back fisheries, in the daily practice of fishing nothing will change.

On goods from elsewhere (not EU) by wto rules you have to charge tariffs. So even with tariffs the products from the EU will be cheaper as you have exactly the same tariffs on products from EU or elsewhere. Only if your citizens (= the EU customers) cannot pay the new price and don't buy the EU will take a hit. But we do not fear, economic experts like jbr and bread have predicted golden times for the UK.

On export of services as a country you earn your income. Lose that export and your economy crumbles.

Re: Misinformation.

Just found this and what a gutless whimp he is not putting it to the vote

" It would be a "disaster" if the Netherlands would leave the European Union, Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte argued in a one-on-one debate with his largest electoral opponent, the pro-Nexit MP Thierry Baudet.

The EU and its common currency the euro were "not perfect", but the risks of the alternative were greater."

What is he afraid of? obvious, the people don't agree. Why doesn't he put an exit vote to the people.

Be fair, why should he have to start working for a living after all those years of being "guided" by the EU?

There are several EU "worthies" who will fight "tooth & nail" to prevent any choice being given to the public!

Re: Misinformation.

Tarrifs are a duty on UK imports that are paid to the UK treasury. There are no tarrifs on services.

How is that s bad deal ???

Over here people have the opportunity to vote every 4 years. That is the moment to influence government policies. They vote for our house of commons, and house of lords (in a democracy those are elected too)

Referenda are no longer necessary here, moreover, we watched the drama of your 2016 drama and the four years aftermath. You can keep that sort of nonsense.
