Could there be a relation to the UK/USdeal enabling the US to use the UK launch?
https://www.gov.uk/government/organi...k-space-agency
The UK and US governments have signed a new agreement paving the way for US companies to operate from UK spaceports and export space launch technology.

The European Space Agency (ESA) has sites in several European countries, but the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, is the largest. ESTEC is ESA's technical heart, where most projects are born and are guided through the various phases of development.

Your celebrating failure again.

Won't be long before the rest of the ESA moves out as well along with your fishing industry and energy industry.

What new foreign investment have you seen on the EU ?

Find out more about space activities in our 22 Member States, and understand how ESA works together with their national agencies, institutions and organisations.

Because of brexit data sharing is limited, so the european space agency needs it's own hub in the UK, beside the UK space agency.

ESA is nothing to do with the EU.

Its just invested massively in the UK, not in any if your 27 member states. There's a reason for that but you wouldn't understand.

You're right in that the esa has nothing to do with the EU.

Those investments however, you are paying yourself (a bit like paying the EU for membership, and getting a part back in subsidies).
UK to invest £374m a year with ESA
https://www.theengineer.co.uk/uk-investing-esa/
Leadsom agreed at the meeting that the UK Space Agency (UKSA) would contribute £375m a year for the next five years towards ESA’s international space programs. “We are delighted to be making this investment in ESA today. From improving communication and connectivity, to helping us monitor the impact of climate change and protect our power grid, our membership of this international organisation will further our position as a space, innovation and climate superpower,” Leadsom said.

Five years 374 amounts to £ 1,7 bn. Not a bad deal for ESA, getting that amount and investing approx £ 100mln in leicester

Why do you think that ESA investing in 2500 jobs here in the UK and about 100 million of capital is worse than investing it in any other EU country ?

Your not making any sense
