The EU doesn't have the b@lls to do that, but I think that they will try their darndest to make being in the EU so costly and uncomfortable for Hungary that either Hungary changes direction or leaves.
Of course, being the glacially-slow EU this process could take decades.

Hungary is landlocked and does not use the Euro, their PM is no pushover. EU need to tread carefully.

And yet, Remainers say that the EU is just a trade organisation. I'm sure that's what they told Hungary and others who joined. The EU is just one big control-freak organisation wanting to dictate to its member `states` how they should run their own countries.

Sod 'em. Stand your ground, Hungary and others of a similar view about how their kids should be raised.

I'm convinced that they are doing it to us as a punishment for leaving their 'club'. However, that's a problem that Boris should really be sorting out. Why he isn't poses quite a few questions.

As for dumping their rubbish on Hungary, that's not going to happen. Their leader is no 'Bumbling Boris'!

Hungary is the second biggest net beneficiary of EU funding. The EU will threaten them with reduced contributions if they don't fall into line and fine them for infringements.
