Re: Dihydrocodeine

I have been on DHC for a number of years, taking them every morning and evening. I decided some time ago to kick the morning one, that was bloody hard, I had some bad withdrawal symptoms...my consultant asked me why I had decided to do that. I thought he would have been impressed ..oh hum.

No wonder it was bloody hard as you say and brought on some withdrawal symptoms ,well done ,I’m impressed even if your doctor wasn’t .

Re: Dihydrocodeine

Diclofenac? I didn’t know that. We tended to use this a bit in the military, especially on long marches
Thanks anyway

Re: Dihydrocodeine

I meant I’m amazed you didn’t ring the doctor to ask if you could take the medicine the pharmacist gave you.

It's basically synthesised morphine only 1.5 times stronger; I took the dihydrocodeine accordingly.
