Fresh ground coffee, sweet peas, carnations/pinks, lily of the valley, new leather, hot bread .......... and the lovely smell of wallflowers which always remind me of my dad's garden when I was a child.....

Roasting peanuts! The Dime store downtown had the peanut stand close to the front door and the scent would waft outside ... could never resist going in to buy a dime's worth!

oooh yes, our old Woolworth's (the ones with wooden floors) when I was a child used to have hot salted peanut "things" and you could buy a couple of ounces in a paper bag. They smelt delicious! (That could also go in the memory thread!!!)

Johnson's baby powder,
Lily of the valley,
The herbs in my garden,
Christmas cakes cooking,
Honeysuckle,
Bluebells.
Washing when brought in fresh from the washing line.
Lemons.
