There was also regular violence and criminal activity in Calais.
And they expect us to welcome them with open arms?

The Visigrad Group, Poland and Co, are refusing any quotas imposed on them and are just saying no.

They have been threatened with financial penalties.

Poland has it's version of VOSA, which checks HGV's on the main roads, they will no doubt be paying particular attention to German HGV's and these checks can take hours.

Why are they not rounded up and thrown out / sent back?

They have entered the country ILLEGALLY!! - and used violence!
