well when I saw the video clip I thought it was his wife sitting next to him and thought - she doesn't look either Japanese or Chinese but could have been Chinglish?

My wife is Portuguese but I tell people in Portugal she's Spanish, what's wrong with that?

I only do it to pose the question, the ultimate wind-up: "but Portugal belongs to Spain, doesn't it?"

Perhaps Hunt's punchline is: "but China belongs to Japan, doesn't it?"

To be fair he was talking to them in Japanese and got his words mixed up. Unfortunate but forgivable.
