Re: Glyphosphate Weedkillers

Having seen my grandad fight against use of chemicals in farming, I am a bit of a natural remedies person in the garden. So many manual workers damaged by various weed killing preparations I prefer to be more careful, especially with kids and dogs and wildlife.

If you have slugs one of the best things we used was nemotodes, brought from amazon at a reasonable price and added to water then you water the garden and these little things eat the slugs. We repeated twice during the summer and had hardly any slug problem at all. Perfectly safe with kids and animals too.

Ants we use talcum powder to keep them out of the flat and caravan and then I am afraid we use a kettle of boiling water on the nest.

Greenfly diluted washing up liquid.

Weeds we dig them out or boiling water depends where they are really.
