Re: What computer/OS do you use?

I am lucky in that my pc was hand built to my (and OH's) spec. The guy that built the pc is also my pc guru - and also works for other people that I work for. He's always on the end of Skype to help out in a crisis. We learned a lot during the specification phase, but sadly, I've forgotten it all now.

Re: What computer/OS do you use?

I probably only use a small percentage of the apps on my Mac: use it for email, Googling, shopping (oh how I shop!), iPhoto and chatting on the forums! Don't do music, movies, games ...

Re: What computer/OS do you use?

I use the one sitting on the desk, dont ask what kind it is.

All I know is it has an on/off switch, and I can just about get on the forum, and load pics up

also....

why do people buy Macs?
The boxes PCs come in are too hard for them to open.

How do you make your Mac go faster?
Drop it from a higher window.

Why aren't more Mac owners computer literate?
They would be, if they had a computer.

How do you make a Mac disk drive access faster?
Wind it up again

How many Mac users does it take to change a light bulb?
Four. One to consult the manual that came with it, one to call tech-support, and two to sit and wait for the 'Smiley Face' to appear and say 'Welcome to Macintosh'.
Brilliant,

Mags, all you need to build a computer is a philips screwdriver nothing else, it's like building leggo, the hardest part is putting in the software, it can be so time consuming, I can build a tower in 30 minutes but the software can take hours to install.
