I am sure that you would Julie but as I mentioned before this is not really a serious discussion . It's just a flame bait by someone who seeks to flame .
Heaven knows there have been many corrupt Australian ministers !
On this band wagon jump the anti semites and some who are just yapping for the sake of it .
Demonising Israel is such a sport .
Netenyahu is not actually a popular man but he is a leader and the Israelis many of whom do not like him still vote for him as they have no strong alternative .
This corruption charge may bring him down but he has served four terms too long IMO for any leader to serve .
And they are not that serious he hasn't had a journalist murdered in the embassy for example .
Netenyahu has in many ways held the difficult peace situation in Israel he is strong and his countries enemies know this .
Strong leaders are often not popular .
Look at Winston Churchill .
Good presidents/PMs don't always make good leaders.
Ie Jimmy Carter was a good man but a hopeless leader .
Tony Blair for all his faults was a leader whereas the weak Cameron was not .
The Israelis have not voted Netenyahu in four times because they love him .
He does what it says on the tin -he protects his people and keeps them safe .
A safe country is a stable country .
Stability means prosperity
As in any country safety stability and prosperity are what a leader is meant to deliver and he does.
