A much better day forecast, just light rain.

Kitchen is looking much better, main bedroom almost finished.

Loads of people advertising for work, so the outside will soon be done, at very reasonable rates.

Good morning everybody. It's dark & raining here.

I'm going to sort some cupboards out today & if I get the chance I want to go the the East Midlands Designer Outlet for some new shoes from Pavers.

No other plans.

Humph! overcast and rainy, so much for the longest day of the year and the chance of seeing the conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter, I will have to wait until I am 113 before the next one. Damn! it's a long wait.

Morning everyone, shortest day here of course Bruce but the same problem with cloud, not a chance of seeing it this evening by the looks of things..

Just back from the Tesco food shop and hopefully that's it now we are fully supplied for at least a week so we will miss all the shopping mayhem, what joy....

No plans for the day other than pie and mash for lunch, and we may get to the forest after lunch if the rain eases, as it's tipping down at the moment.

Good morning everyone only one level above darkness and pouring with rain.

I am about to start a huge mince pie making sessions. I am meeting up with my son on the common tomorrow to give him the present,mince pies and spiced pickled cabbage I made.

I fear a tighter lockdown is on the way here as numbers of cases of the virus in the east of the county have risen dramatically in just a few days .
I can sit back then and take it easy

Good morning all.
It's pouring down here, really miserable.

Not a lot planned, just a quick visit to the vets with my oldest dog, then I shall bring her home and go out again for a small bit of shopping and a visit to the cash machine, followed by the usual boring household chores.

It’s a miserable wet and mild shortest day here....

Not much planned for today other than the daily chores.

It doesn’t feel Christmassy at all this year, hard to believe it will be Christmas day on Friday. I’ll be glad when this year is over.
