Millionaire

Tonight was strange, there was a ceiling limit on unguessable questions @ £4000.00. Intellectuals need Netflix.

Re: Millionaire

Interesting how the last contestant prevented her fellow contestants from taking part by taking her time. She took so long that Clarkson asked if anyone had a chess set.

To get £4000.00, I couldn't be arsed to brush up on the pre-raphaelites, just want to answer questions, not learn anything.

The programme was slightly surreal.

Longy, I have just watched it now before l read this thread and thought the same about her slowness preventing others from getting a go.
It was painful to watch but l loved how Jeremy started to look up and around in the air.

I did think a couple of the questions were really hard and more suited to the high money part of the game.

Likewise Mups
...also it is too slow going for my liking made worse by advertisement breaks ...

I prefer Mastermind, they get on with that at a pace ...

Re: Millionaire

Not so keen on Mastermind, no point in watching the specialist subjects and there is no personal greed for a monetary prize, same goes for the celebrity versions of The Chase, Tipping Point etc, without the personal financial aspect they lose perspective.

Ditto but I can't stand The Chase in any case for some reason.
