It reminds me of better times, before England was ruled by the Eurotw@ts.

Re: It's official, Big Ben will chime on 31st January

Remainers don't want Big Ben to "bong" because not only does it symbolise the UK leaving the EU but also the failure of project fear, Peoples Vote, Remain and the other undemocratic groups.

May it ring loud !

We should have it ring every year at 11pm on the 31st January to remind us that our democracy is paramount in our country.

If nothing else, peeps can come and listen to our local parish church bell at 11pm on Jan 31st. I can almost guarantee it will be striking the hour as it does every hour of every day.

One of today's printed newspapers' headlines said that the £500K needed was an over-egging of the true cost made by the remainer faction in the HoC.

Probably, these stunts wouldn't surprise me.

I heard a conspiracy theory the other day saying if Big Ben doesn't bong then it means we haven't left the EU.

It gets weirder by the day.

True cost is somewhere in the region of £125k according to the Daily Fail on line.

That's not counting the bribes needed to get wheels in motion?

Like: the date of leaving should be set in british law.
You know of course that in reality international EU law determines when you are allowed to leave.
