BabyBob my cat

If you look at my Avaitar that is my BabyBob when he was
a baby. I had to put him to sleep this afternoon.
He had Diabetes and after owning lots of cats was surprised
as I have never had a Diabetic cat.
In the end he was eating at least 11 sachets of cat food a day, with fresh chicken and fish and cat milk and lots of water.
His life changed from being a go out cat looking for adventure to one who was crying for hours for food and looking at me with the look of why are you not helping me.
The Diabetes was really bad seemingly and it would have cost hundreds if not thousands of pounds to keep him going. Which included me giving him a Insulin injection twice a day.
He had a great 12 years and was born into a football World Cup in June 2002 and went out in one in 2014. He had everything he wanted and lived a better life than some poor kids in Africa could ever do so I know I shouldn't feel guilty putting him down. I will miss him like we all do our beloved Pets

Re: BabyBob my cat

I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss, I know how you must feel as I've been through it with my two cats, they both had to be put down which was a terrible decision to make but necessary, I still miss them every day...

Awful when you have to do this but no-doubt it was for the best. Damn shame pets don't have longer life spans.

So sorry to hear this, but you know you did the right thing for him.

Hope you have had some good news today, too.

Re: BabyBob my cat

Thanks everyone for your wishes. Its much appreciated.
I felt awful this morning knowing I was going to have him put to
sleep but at the same time getting my results from the breast cancer
op. That turned out to be good and after my 3 weeks of radiation therapy
I will be OK Didn't ask for how long though lol. I will do without that
answer. They were happy at the hospital that I was so happy in myself
and that they only had to have this mad woman in hospital for six and a half hours.
Thanks for thinking of me its much appreciated. I am a bouncy person and
never say never is my motto. Bouncy or is it the wine
