Happy Sunday Folk.

A Damselfly taken yesterday at Barnwell Country Park in Northants.
We went out to the pub yesterday evening, something we rarely do these days, and met up with our son and his partner. There were loads of people there enjoying the lovely warm summer evening...............bliss.

Thunderstorm in the wee hours has freshened things up, its dull here but less heavy and close than yesterday evening. Still pretty warm though..

Gorgeous start here and just enjoying a brew in the conservatory overlooking our garden. We are clipping the dogs later on and we have friends arriving for lunch, so a busy day ahead.

The rain's finally stopped here, so I'm hoping when I rise in 7 or so hours it will be to a beautiful fresh day.

Morning all. Nice day here again, but as I seem to be killing my garden mowers one by one no mowing for me today...Plenty of tidying up to do, though.

I was intending to go to a ballet performance by the two little ones but it seems a number of others can't go for one reason or another so it has been called off .

Lots to do here anyway with our holiday looming, I am preparing and taking all the food
