Kids

Hi

In Morrison's this morning.

Children are exempt from face masks.

They are contrary, some kicking off because they did not have a mask.

Mummy, I am a big girl now, I need a mask.

I want a pink one with sparkly bits on it.

Parents just cannot win.

Re: Kids

I have seen some little kids wearing masks. Guess their parents thought it a good idea. If I was a little kid I'd not want one. I hate them & have yet to find one that fits properly & I have bought over 20 so far. My ears are too small & my face is too short for most.

Not everyone has someone at home they can leave them with, that's the trouble. Who wants to pay a child minder just while they nip down to Asda?

Re: Kids

If people don't have anyone to look after their kids while the go shopping then wait until they do, or put the fear of god into the kids so that the kids behave appropriately - and I'm being very serious. Especially with this awful disease in full spate.

Agreed, I shop at Asda, suppliers of gourmet foods, fine wines and ales to the nobility, when I attend , there's always a screaming brood of kids somewhere in the store and I find myself praying for them to walk into a shelving unit, and die under a rain of falling baked bean tins.
But no, it never happens.

Instead, they just wander the aisles, screaming like recently departed lost souls in some particularly vile purgatory. Dante was wrong - the ninth level of Hell is populated by people who think supermarkets are great places to take kids. Personally, I think that we should fence off a couple of the trolley parks, and leave toddlers out in the rain, chained to the railings the same way people have to leave dogs outside shops. They can't run away, and they'll still be there when you come back for them.
