Re: Time travel

Rather than travel to the past or the future, I'd like time to stop for a while. The older I get, the faster time seems to go...
Blimey!.....Is it almost November already? Where did that year go?

Re: Time travel

No past, no future wanted to time travel here ... I just want the time travelling Tardis complete with Patrick Troughton Tom Baker and David Tennant on board.

Party time! All welcome, bring a bottle and guess what?

Covid rules don't apply in the Tardis - yippee!

Good point Donks. in that case I might go back and pay Mary Millington a visit ..... now that I'm a bit older like.

Before my dad died, I would have said that I would like to travel into the future because I am curious but since he passed away, I would want to travel back to the past just to see him again and spend time with him. He was the greatest dad on earth and I miss him so much.
Quite the reverse here. I loathed my father so much that I last saw him about 35 years ago. He died 5 years ago and I didn't go to the funeral - neither did my brother nor, by all accounts, my two half-sisters - and I'd only go back in time to punch his lights out.

Definitely the future for me!

Folks seem to search for time, one day time will search you out, maybe then time will be a none entity.

Re: Time travel

There are so many past events I'd love to be able to observe from a safe distance, but I think I would like to be able to speak to my parents as adult to adult, find out what they were really like as - well - people rather than parents. When you're just a child you don't (and can't) question anything.

As for the future - I think it will be very disturbing and frightening. I'd only want to see it if I was a distant viewer and unable to be involved in events.
