When there's likely to be panic buying, I'd like to see Super Markets selling the food items after, first, opening the packets.That would keep make the hoarders think twice as the "use by date" becomes just a few days.
Also, selling things on, when already opened, would be less popular with the buyers?

One thing that makes me giggle is the fact that the hoarders now have three months worth of crappy homebrand beans and gluten-free bread to get through.
