I know it shouldn't have been funny but the village carol service was rather spoiled as a few teenagers have managed to rearrange the Christmas lights in the village to form a giant appendage of the penile variety! Watching the local WI trying to sing and keep a straight face had us in stitches 🎄

Too busy explaining why it was funny to our companions, British humour we eventually decided doesn't really translate to Nepali minds 😀

I think our humour is unique among English speaking countries. Americans don't understand it for a start ,nor do we understand theirs.

I am still getting over the nativity play I went to last week when my GDs angel dress kept falling off her shoulder so she seemed to be doing a striptease and a 'sheep' from nursery class was doing a little dance all of its own and fell off the stage turning the whole thing into a comedy..
