Same for us this afternoon. Lots of burly firemen Ho ho hoing does your heart good and the youngsters loved it.

Our Christmas has kind of begun already. Our now large family is so far flung that it's difficult for everyone to be here on the same day. They have their own things they want to do as well. Anyway, three of them tuned up to stay last night and two more are coming tonight. Then we're going over the road to a neighbour to have nibbles and a drink.
I'm not sure who is coming when but quite a few others will be coming and going over the next week. The greatest number will be here tomorrow (Monday), so Christmas dinner will likely be then. However, on the 25th there will only be three of us here. Maybe we'll cook another small roast. Another big gathering looks likely on the 26th.
I know the last one leaving will be on the 1st of January.

They come round here too, it'll probably be next week now.
I don't mind them coming, they cheer alot of people up with their efforts.
