Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Rain this morning.
Son no1's birthday today-going to make him a big cooked breakfast about 9am.
It's minced liver and pork I use to make faggots-no nasty bits of meat! The worst part is mincing the liver.
I also enjoy Talking Heads, watched A Chip In The Sugar with Martin Freeman yesterday.Alan Bennett's such a clever writer.
Have a good day.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Saturday night is dire on TV isn't it? I treated the family to supper tonight so had some company and a good laugh at old Michael McIntyre reruns. Just back now, with a nice cup of tea.

Have you tried Inspector Montalbano on BBC4 Jac? It's all in Italian, but has sub-titles and the scenery is lovely to look at. I have it on record, but it started half an hour ago, so I'm waiting for it to finish and watching Bond!

Faggots sound great Rhosyn - bet they were appreciated.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Another visit from the plumber this morning - to no avail. The toilet in Rob's bathroom has managed to break free from its moorings and is now leaking all over the floor (and lifting the flooring in one place). Plumber gave his verdict and will return when he has his van and all equipment to solve the problem. Think I'm going to change plumbers.........

It's raining again and I have to go out after lunch to drop off some letters around the district, but it will be a change of scene.

Spent a lovely 4 days with son no2.Pup and I will miss him,he certainly fills the house,he's such a tonic.Promised another visit next month.
Horrible drizzly day.
