God made man first and monitored his progress. He realised that he wasn't doing to well on his own so he made woman to guide the way. Hence the human population.

That may be true Jemflux, but ...... (and there is always a but) ..... don't you think you men folk would be have bored in paradise with all those apples that you dare not touch. It needed a bold woman to show the way and liven things up a bit. Apples are there to be eaten and enjoyed - did you never go scrumping
