Lovely warm day today, blue sky and sunshine....then the rain came around 7pm-back to normal!

Here at a bit after 11:30 am it's a chilly 16 C (61 F) .... our normal mid day high is 30 C! In between showers now.

Been a gloomy, wet and windy day here but now, at 7.17pm, the sun is trying hard to break through the cloud ..... currently 14ºC.

Same here Mags......then after the sun trying to come out......whoosh, a heavy downpour!

It's been dreadful up here today . . . gales and driving rain all day . . . I'm now looking forward to winter comming.

I had a call from my daughter today to say her garden swing (adult swing not child's) had blown over, she had to leave it laying against her neighbour's wall...

Mags, what are the weather people saying about this, has it been a gale? It sounds dreadful. How is your garden and hanging baskets?

I haven't seen or heard any mention of the weather today, Eileen...... no doubt it will make the headlines tomorrow if there has been any damage though.

My garden is ok, I emptied the hanging baskets and containers a week or so ago. We've had such a bad summer that the plants didn't do very well this year

A bit breezy but it's dry and sunny just now . . . it's been the worst summer I can remember . . . nothing seems to have grown this year . . . last year I filled many carrier bags with tomatoes but this year's been dreadful with hardly any crop at all.
