RIP labour

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...herts-14804698

Along with this and those already jailed for similar offences, Alister Darlings memoirs, Blairs Lybia intervention, Browns Bigotry plus more dozens more Labour party failings how can anyone ever vote labour again?

Yeah . . . it was a case of greed not need on her part . . . however . . . all the parties were at it not just Labour . . . we are reaping what we sowed last year . . . the Labour party has it's faults but it was the lesser of two evils IMO . . . we are now getting shafted by a gorvernment that did not get a clear majority . . . it has echoes of the dreaded Thatcher era . . . my only hope is that Scotland will get it's freedom to go it alone.

Re: RIP labour

Four Labour plus one pending and one Tory MP's jailed for falsifying expense claims, speaks for itself.

Thatcher years, took over with £700 billion in debt when she came to power, £392billion in debt when Blair and Brown took over. Cameron and co have taken over £1 trillion debt which has to be sorted out, which was left from Labour. It does not need a mathematician to work out who are the wastrels and who are the thrifty.

To think I voted labour all those years, I was one of the brainwashed puppets, now I have a mind of my own.

Never voted Labour and never will. The Tories aren't perfect by any means but have done less damage over the years IMO.

Yeah matey - me too - the closure and sale of most of our manufacturing industries, the closure of the steel mills and coal mines on purely ideological grounds (as opposed to to economic reasons - we now have yet another fuel crisis and we're still sitting on a mountain of coal).

You're not the only one to have nightmares, I can remember the pathetic Labour government that preceded that era, abdicating all responsibility and allowing trades unions to run the country into the ground for their own selfish benefit..

Am a student of history Plantman and have read and heard oral testimony of some of the things the 'Tories' have done both pre and post WW2, which is one of the principal reasons Churchill was given a 'bloody nose' in the post war General Election landslide - because no-one could (or should) trust a Tory politician EVER!!!

There are a few Politicians that are (or were) trustworthy - the late Nye Bevan, the late Bessie Braddock, the Late Michael Foot, Tony Benn and Denis Skinner - all of whom would describe themselves as (true) Socialists - which (New) Labour is not and the 'S' word is now proscribed inside the 'new' Labour Party because they are all now greedy, self-serving, self-centred thieves, liars and hypocrites.
