Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning All Nice and sunny here but a right cold wind coming off the water. Drove over to Strathy Beach yesterday and spent a couple hours messing around in the caves there, and watching the waves crash while I had my coffee from the flask.
Enjoy your W/E.......Am hoping the fireworks don't go on too long tonight as my dog just hates them and gets himself into a right state
Here's a couple of pics from yesterday's wee jaunt..

Roxy looks a lovely beach to sit and enjoy your coffee. Showers here today so its the local shops today. We used to have a bonfire and fireworks but, they stopped it last year. I haven't really heard any fireworks so far probably will hear them tonight.

Good Afternoon Each,a chilly windy one here but dry ..so far

I do hope You're feeling a bit better today Jessie and the sickness/dizziness has gone

Not been feeling so great Myself over the weekend as I've been dealing with an underarm abcess..it burst this Morning thank gawd, and pain has gone...but My bathroom is like an operating theatre scrubbed & disinfected to within an inch of its life, and I'm wrinkled like a prune with showering 3 times a day..so I'm hoping it heals without having to go to Doc's for antibiotics as I'm allergic to some, and the idea of having it lanced gives Me the screamin abdabs

Hi Mat the weather is much the same here today. Glad that the abcess has burst it must have been really painful. My legs were a wee bit wobbly this morning. Did the inside of the upstairs windows and some ironing, going to put a washing on and do some more windows.

Morning All It's very raw here but that won't stop me heading off to the pool after I've walked the dog. What beautiful skys last night, the aurora was in full glory up here. Did anyone else see it? I believe it was pretty wide spread..
This was at Thurso Castle early last evening...
