Ah yes. She fought a long battle with cancer I believe.

She was brilliant in Blake's 7, one of my favourite old SciFi series. Just dripping with sensuality and devilishly good villainy.

Paul Darrow, Avon (the best character in the series) had a lot of hard years too. Lost his wife I think.

Life is fickle.

It was a brilliant Sci-Fi series created by the same people as Doctor Who. It majored on characters though rather than silly special effects and the running stories were brilliant.
It would look dated now but any fan of the series would readily watch it all again.

I loved Blake's Seven, so much that I bought DVDs of the full series.

And I used to fancy Servalan like mad.
