My Beatles jigsaw

Being off work I bought a jigsaw, the first time I've done one since I was very small and fitted two pieces of a big elephant together.

This one of The Beatles' classic "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" album sleeve took me just over a week to complete. Much head-scratching, copious amounts of coffee and a sore backside later, here it is in all its glory...

Well done Floydy!

I love doing jigsaws in the winter days, especially the 1,000 pieces ones as they are more of a challenge.

A thousand pieces Mags that one Floydy did was just a 4 piece and it took him a bleeding week.
Just imagine how long it would take him doing a 1000 pieces.

Lol! Actually it was a 1000-piece puzzle, Longfellow, not a bad effort for a simple bloke from Hull.
I started with the perimeter, which was quite easy, then tackled the flower beds which were a nightmare because the same colours are in different places!
The sky was next and was surprisingly not too difficult. Then I found all the famous people and that wasn't as simple as you would think. And the early Beatles in their black suits was a ballache!
I saved the best until last, the four uniforms, and the bass drum was the last area to look forward to.
I really don't want to make a habit of doing jigsaws though as they are incredibly addictive - but it's found me something to do whilst I have limited activities stuck at home.

You gave us a clue in a previous thread didn't you, and that was the image I had in my head. Well done Floydy for completing it. What's next?

No more jigsaw for a while, that's for sure mate.
I dunno. I need to tidy the loft if I can still get up there.
