Lottery Spend Limit

Just had an Email from the National Lottery saying spending limits are to be imposed. That's all well and good online, but what about at a terminal in a shop. Nipped into my local shop for a Tinny at 7.00pm last night, and the three people in front of me in the queue spent collectively £32.00 at the terminal, are these Emails just lip service?

Re: Lottery Spend Limit

That will annoy syndicates!

They need to cap the amount of winnings and share it out better imo.

Are they capping spending at £1,000,000?

As always.

I agree. Instead of one ticket winning £170M, there should be 170 tickets winning £1M

I agree; and they would sell more tickets as people would think they had a better chance of a win

I don't buy any, the odds are too wacky for me...

I do buy a weekly ticket from our local hospice.

I'd rather jab a pencil into my eye than waste money on a lottery ticket....

Would there be a limit on that?

I don't charge for a poinking Foxy, I'll give you one of my specials!
A severe trouncing might set you back a bit, but it will be very satisfying

Re: Lottery Spend Limit

Hi

I doubt very much that my weekly spend on the Lottery will affect anything.

It is a bit of fun I started when I was married and the kids were young.

I carry on simply because of the memories.
