Difficult. Many countries have made the argument that these people are no longer their citizens and thus not their responsibility. However, it doesn't seem fair to expect Syria/Turkey to have to pay for their incarceration.Re: Syrian prisoners .The ticking time bomb

We've had several discussions on here about foreigners who have come to these shores, committed a crime and have duly been convicted. The prevailing view is that these people should be deported either during or upon completion of their sentence.
