What does the Daily Express know that We Don't?

Been looking at various weather forecasts for first week of December 2019. None except the Daily Express give out a Warning with accompanying maps of the whole of the UK covered in a blanket of Snow when we are due to be hit by an ''Arctic Bomb''. Who is right? why no more warnings?

Headlines state ''UK SNOW WARNING'' Britain to be ENGULFED in brutal snow storms.........

Brrr, I felt cold just looking at the Maps!. This does not bode well for the Election on the 12th as they saying the snow and freezing conditions will have reached us by then. If not snow, it will be freezing, pouring with rain with black ice.

They don"t always get it right TBH.
They must be the only people who don"t loose their jobs for getting things wrong ., as they do numerous times .
I know one thing , I am going to turn out and *Vote* .

The Express is very good at finding things on Mars too,so I wouldn't take much notice of what they print.

They're also very good at forecasting property price crashes too ... except when it happens.

Provided voters of all political persuasion stay away in equal numbers, it should make no difference to the result, unless you are a spokesperson for one of the losing parties of course.

Long term forecasts might as well predict it raining frogs during a tropical storm onto a frozen Thames.

It's simply not possible to apply deterministic models to a chaotic system and conclude anything other than a best guess.

Re: What does the Daily Express know that We Don't?

This last month has highlighted shortcomings in the daily forecasting mainly in the definition of a Shower. It used to mean a short abrupt period of heavy rain, interspersed with periods of dryness. Now it seems "The possibility of a Shower" means its going to Lash Down all day!
