Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Matilda was, let's say, different! The children were marvellous. Very late home last night and up early this morning. Taking a friend to shop in Llandrindod and nearly ditched the car on ice before I got to her house! Horrible out there now. Booked the cinema (Bohemian Rhapsody) tonight, wish I hadn't now!

Film was wonderful - sang (under my breath) all the way through - when I wasn't teary eyed! Came home and watched Strictly - so glad Stacey and Kevin won.

Small grandson and I have just put the Christmas tree up - and the lights work! That's a start. Have finished most of the shopping and done most of the packing, so feeling relieved. Off to Christingle service tonight and at least the weather has calmed down.

Dreadful day here, wind on the back of the house is making even the kitchen feel cold. Luckily Rob's room is better insulated and it feels quite warm in there. Friend's Mum died last week and the funeral is on Friday. Hope to goodness the weather improves a bit before that.

Just light showers and sunshine here.
Granddaughter came down yesterday and gave me a lift (in my own car !!) to the nurse for B12 inj . She checked my BP for me which was perfect so no idea what is causing these headaches. I feel wiped out today so a really lazy one for me
