Had a lovely curry tonight

Had a lovely curry tonight, and will definitely do it again soon.

..for two:

Patak's Tikka Masala spice paste ... half a jar.



Onion, celery, garlic, ginger, tomato, potato, courgette.

topped with half a tub of ..

I use yoghurt to thicken my curries. But I use spices from the Indian supermarket at Charminster.

Do you ever make veg curry? This is a first for me.

With curry generally we like to serve it piping hot, then spoon on yoghurt.

Of course we could go further and make raita ... Yoghurt, chopped cucumber and mint.

No, I haven't made a vegetable curry.
I love Raita too.
I use the yoghurt in the cooking as a thickener.
I suppose my recipe does not need meat tbh.

We had a Pataks tonight but the coconut Korma one. Fried an onion and added some Quorn pieces and some shredded cabbage, served on some noodles of all things. Yes, a bit of a mix up but it was nice never the less.

opportunities are endless.

I was going to do some yellow basmati with the above, using turmeric we'd brought back from Portugal, but ended up with a bowl of veg curry only.

Looks like this ...
