They must be totally ignorant of any feelings, compassion, or conscience.
Not a nice person to know or ever trust IMO.

They are usually horrible sadists .The slaughter houses of the Middle East are like Dantes infierno .
God forbid ( I don't know why I use the word god as these acts are done to placate some bloody god ) that it gets to this state in the UK.

I agree with it being labelled.I've seen it done both ways. Done by a skilled slaughterer with a swift sharp stroke to the jugular death is almost instantaneous. I don't know what the animal feels but I didn't see any signs of discomfort.
Not pleasant to watch though.
