HMRC attacks on lower paid

I seem to recall this was debated in here when HMRC were first granted these extra powers. I conjectured then that HMRC would choose the 'soft' targets at the expence of the rich and famous, and that is precisely what has happened!!!

Whilst that is very true with the present scumbag 'nasty party' Government, - it doesn't HAVE to be that way - with a more humanitarian Government in place, HMRC could be directed to concentrate their efforts on the larger tax evasions from companies and company directors.
