The comparison between Neville Chamberlain and Theresa May is quite amazing!!!
I wonder why its always the scumbag 'nasty party' that s*at on the people of the UK???
The backstop, part of the present deal, has been warned about by several members on this forum. The danger of the backstop is so obvious.
Now the legal advice issues a similar warning.
I am not an inhabitant of the UK, but in your position I would be loath to sign such an agreement. You are at the mercy of the EU. Present representatives in council and parliament have a favourable attitude to the UK. In a few months times there are elections. The representatives change in political colour, and attitude. No way of knowing how they regard the backstop position in future negotiations on trade relations.
In that sense I do agree with UJ.
