South Africa takes land

South Africa plans to take back land from white farmers without any compensation.
The idea is to redistribute it to the poor and needy .
However in Zimbabwe this didn't happen the land was given to the cronies of Mugabe .
There can only be terrible trouble ahead .
All white farmers will be lucky to escape with their lives but it's hardly surprising given the history of South Africa .

It will be interesting to see if British students lobby our banks as they did in the early 80's. My guess is they will not.

The white south Africans I know all left when they saw this coming a few years ago. It's been on the cards for years that it'll happen eventually. It's a shame but I am not sure anyone is innocent in all the mess over there. Well only the Chinese Asians who are treated like dirt by black and white alike.

We have friends Barry and Caro who came to live here about 6 years ago. They are from South Africa, both were born in Cape town but found life getting harder and more dangerous by the day. They packed up and came to Scotland, ending up near us in Thurso. Both are Teachers and love it here.

I understand that it gets more dangerous when the sun goes down. That's when they all come out.
