Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Sorry to hear about your dog Rhosyn, hope he's better soon. 16 is a good age isn't it?

Flying visit to Brecon this morning to do some banking. Glad I went this morning, it's pouring now. We certainly need the rain, but I think I'll have to cancel my gardener tomorrow.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Had a bit of a hiccup yesterday. Supposed to go to "Wonderwool" at the Royal Welsh Showground to do a day of collecting for the Air Ambulance. Got out of bed to discover I could barely put my left foot to the ground. Arthritis strikes again - think the weather might have something to do with it. Stayed home and made some lemon curd and had a lazy day. Foot is better today but I'll be glad to get an appt with the Podiatry Clinic.
Quieter weather here today, thank goodness.

Getting really interested in the snooker this year! Such a clever game, how they work out the angles mystifies me, I never did like geometry!

Not looking forward to the next two days, two funerals two days running in our Church. Went up there to make sure my graves were tidy this afternoon and the churchyard is covered in bluebells, another couple of days and they will be amazing.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

My dog had the scan yesterday and he has a tumour in his bladder, hence the blood in his urine. The vet was very good and explained that he could have an operation to remove it but given his age I decided not to put him through that, the family agree. He's not in pain thank goodness.Vet was concerned about his breathlessness,he has what is known as Westie lung. He's on steroids, have to take him back on the 13th.

Think you're very wise not to put him through an op Rhosyn. If he's not in pain, just go with the flow.

Big funeral in our Church this afternoon, wonderful lady of 93. Another tomorrow - think they are related but I don't know the ins and outs of it!

Just off to Craft Club.

Hope your little g.granddaughter is better now Rhosyn. My boys are off playing rugby (last weekend) and I'm going to Hereford with my granddaughter driving on Tuesday (looking forward to that).

So cold here, though lovely sunshine. The electric blanket is back on on a timer!
