You could try using one of those launching things people use to throw a ball for their dogs, I'm sure you could easily be Chamion tea bag thrower 2019, then.

Ah good point! it had actually been boiled for 4 minutes before the escape attempt

I can't believe I uploaded a photo of a chip to the forum

I use one of these to cut my chips. The metal one must be over 50 years old!

Wow we had one of those when I was a kid in the 60's / 70's, it would give nice uniform chips OGF would be proud of
