Re: My plan for Easter

I used to do a lot of backpacking and hillwalking. I still do, but nothing like as hard! It's more low level and trails now, and not so often

I've started to do something that I call, for want of a better description, 'looking at Britain' - castles, old houses, museums, little villages, that sort of thing

I've never been to a re-enactment show, but that's part of it
Village fairs and country shows often have stalls for woodcarving and similar crafts, so we shall see

I still have all my camping gear, so accommodation will be cheap, but I'm going by car, not walking!

Full of optimism, I've just bought a new pair of prescription sunglasses!
