DIane Abbott is in trouble again .
Caught knocking back a canned Mojito on the train .
She has apologised .
Knowing her her penchant for excuses she could have said
......that was no ordinary mojito that was an M and S mojito

It is, apparently, now illegal to drink alcohol on TFL trains (Transport for London), and has been since 2008.

High incidence of drunkenness on Tubes, complaints and hence the ban.

Isn't it sad though, that the law removes the rights of people who may enjoy a G&T before they arrive home for dinner...just because some people can't keep control of how much they drink?

It seems to me that those who abide by the rules of decent behaviour, are punished because some can't. I wonder what would happen if we all got drunk on trains....how would an already stretched legal service deal with that? Maybe all the money invested in rail would be wasted because we were all banned!

I don't like Diane Abbot but, apart from breaking a pathetic
law to stop drunk behaviour, what has she really done wrong?

Nowt wrong with having a Tinny on a Train, provided it is between 7.00pm and 10.00pm, outside those hours could be construed as a problem, for the individual, not for society as a whole.
