I still look forward to the daily reports, I ignore the repetitive questions.

I've turned into a media recluse these past couple of months. I don't watch the news or any current affairs programmes, and I never watch the daily virus reports. In fact, all my news comes from you guys on the forum now.....

Re: New infection statistics!

Matt Hancock mentioned an outbreak in West Yorkshire yesterday. This outbreak is just down the road from me and it's unsettling to find out of this outbreak so close to home. The army was called in and the factory closed. 12 were found to test positive but who is to say how many these 12 have unknowingly infected others.
Scary thought.

Stay safe all xx

Re: New infection statistics!

Here in Oz Covid has all but been eradicated.. except for stragglers Victoria state which keeps having one hot spot after another.
Worldwise Brazil is the most deadly hot spot with its daily death toll now overtaking the US. Other Latin American nations such as Chile and Ecuador are also on the rise.. as is Mexico.
Pleased to see the UK death rate dropping.

Yes South America is certainly looking like an area to avoid if we
ever get travelling again Swannie?
But oz is almost completely clear now and from what we hear
you guys are working to an enforced plan of action?
Unlike UKs volountary non system?
Could you tell me if your citezens are subjected to what must be
at least 6hrs of TV broadcasts on all channels repeating over and
over what amounts to the same advice and warnings etc??
Usually conducted by a member of the cabinet and complete with
a full blown press conference??
I mean, 6hrs a day, all channels, for 3monthss???
Come on, its enough to make everybody hyperchondriacs??

We are all subconsciously receiving our orders from the media. They dictate how we act, view life, and interact with others, and we haven't a clue how much we are being manipulated. Even watching soaps and other innocuous material is providing a template for society unbeknown to us.
This coronavirus has opened my eyes to many things that I had considered innocent and benign. And it's only going to get worse!
