Where you live.

What is it that you love about where you live?

For me, it is the fact that I have a beach, but also The New Forest on my doorstep.

Re: Where you live.

What I like is that I can stroll out the front gate and walk for miles. No streets, just parkland and woodland. And we meet other friendly dogs and their walkers.

Re: Where you live.

I live in a city but I'm on the outskirts.
I have the city centre, family and friends close by but within five minutes I can be in the countryside. 20 minutes away is the beach.

Yes. I wouldn't want to live in the centre of Hull. I used to visit a company there on business quite often. Amsterdam Road as I recall.

Nice and quiet where we are.
However, London is only an hour or so on the train and I can drive to somewhere like Hayling Island in half hour.

Re: Where you live.

When we first moved here, it was a village & I knew everyone, now it's grown & I hardly know anyone, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, except maybe in a bigger house, but still here.

I love Hayling Island. I have two hours plus to get to London.

Yes, Sweet Pea. We had a minimum set criteria that a new property had to meet.
  1. Good sized back garden (yes, with hound in mind)
  2. Walk in showers upstairs and downstairs.
  3. Min three bedrooms. The proposed property has four. The grand girls can each have their own And one for that dog.
  4. A park/nature reserve close by. Again, dog in mind.
  5. .
