Re: Cellulitis

Our snow has almost gone annie
I'm looking forward to spring too - been reading the plant and seed catalogues
Only have another day and a half on antibiotics and my leg and foot is not too bad now...though the redness and swelling will never go...I can put up with that. Just getting shoes to fit is my problem, I buy from Cosyfeet, they have a good range and I would recommend them for anyone with feet problems.

Re: Cellulitis

Hello Janela

I had a appointment at the Lymphodaemia Clinic at our local hospital the other day about my legs, I was in there 90 minutes with two women specialists. It was very interesting, they said with Cellulitis no two legs are the same, one leg is usually more swollen or redder than the other one. She said mine is more to do with inflammation of the legs due to my weight putting a large strain on the valves in my legs. They took several photos of my legs (I hope they don't end up on You Tube and they end up being famous with thousands of hits ), no they took them for learning purposes for students.

They said if I get Cellulitis again I've got to have a high dose of Fluxcyllian and zap it straight away.

When all my other health problems are dealt with they are going to give me compression stockings although my legs are a very strange shape, and I will be doing Hyper-------- (when you swim in a pool doing all exercises).

It was very interesting what they told me. I'm glad yours are getting better Janela.

Re: Cellulitis

That's the antibiotic that I'm on now Alison, it does work for me. And you saying zapping it was how it was explained to me too...not a very medical term is it?
Do let me know how you get on with the compression stockings please.
Not sure about the hyperextension water exercises though (I looked it up on the net - I think it is right) I don't like swimming much.

Re: Cellulitis

Gin (spit)
Vodka or red wine Geoff..accidently got a bottle of Jacobs Creek Sharaz with this weeks shopping delivery
I did the right thing and rang customer services and said I had a bottle of red (not ordered by me)..they effused at my honesty and said if I like red, then I could keep it
