Talk about supporting your own country doesn't even come close.
Look at what we have here, free national health- good schools- pensions that increase each year- policemen who don't generally carry guns- not to mention the history and beautiful places one won't get abroad in such a small area.

So to those who want to run and think of themselves then go ,I could say more but would be kicked off the site
I agree.
Brexiteers, voted us out of the EU now want to leave the rest of us to face the fallout.
If you said you voted remain you were unpatriotic!
I was even told to get out and move to Europe if I loved it so much.
Talk about double standards!
Sheesh!

And the irony is ....

These Brexiters, living in the mid 20c, wanting to do damage to Germany, are quite prepared to bring down a couple of dozen others with it, some of which are our oldest allies.

So now is not a good time to think about moving elsewhere in Europe.

Schadenfreude, the Germans call it.

On another thread I see someone saying Remainers should leave, again!

The abuse we get now is going to be nothing compered to the blame going the other way when things get bad after Brexit.

Re: Had enough of the UK

I watch a brit program called "escape to the country" from time to time - unless it's all a fiddle England is still a very beautiful country and I think sometimes the brits forget it's so [ I did before I left!]

I believe it is often mismanaged by progressive govts who often disregard the working class and the retired and elderly. And why it continues believing in immigration puzzles me - someone once said that immigration was necessary because the british worker was too lazy to work??

It is still beautiful Gumbud, despite the weather. Every time I drive down Cheddar Gorge, each turn of the corner take my breath away.
Looking across Somerset from various vantage points always makes me glad I live here.
Each county has it's individual beauty.

Re: Had enough of the UK

Some parts of the country are densely populated but taking a train ride anywhere reveals that there is still masses of good green countryside in the UK.

Most areas have nearby open countryside for people to go to if they want to get away from the towns and cities.

Re: Had enough of the UK

However I did get the strong impression that in these beautiful spots there was none or little employment and so the people seeking these spots had 'made' their money elsewhere and were retiring on their amassed riches!!

I often tell ozzie friends that the major cities of UK run straight up the centre and that's where the major populations are and job opportunities are and the countryside quiet places up the east and west coasts and deep south and rugged north - shetland and beyond!!

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

The last thing the UK needs is your sort.
