sulper fumes

these are near mount Fugi in Japan. he sulper is actually in some of the water which they use in a strange way.

what they do is place eggs to cook in the water which is a stead 85 degrees so take about 1 hour to cook. When taken out the shells are black and highly prized by the Japanese. The inside is a normal but we never tried them as they were rather expensive.

Just to mention all the trees miles around etc were dead due to the Sulpher in the air, you could smell it all the time we were there

Dunno Foxy.
But I do know you can buy Sulphur candles to burn to kill insects and green houses. So I wouldn't fancy breathing it for long.

Yes. I think that it's sulphur that gives eggs their bad eggy smell.

Sulphur kills bacteria, I believe.

The precursors to antibiotics were sulphonamides.
