I used to make lots of them - have made those three in your pictures. My favourite aircraft is the Tiger Moth - so made a few of those in different liveries.

I used to love making them when I was a youngster, they weren't as big as the one's shown but they gave me hours of enjoyment all the same.

Credit to him, he sure makes a top job by the looks of it, I always used to fail on the paint job, never had enough patience towards the end I guess.

Re: AirFix & Tamiya Kits

Oh memories. I had so many, they were my pride and joy and every penny went on finding a kit apart from airfix for that Japanese plane

Then we moved and the evil one threw them away.

I`m sure I have been here before

Ive passed on all your comments to OH ,he says thank you he hopes to do the Vulcan after the B17,,

OlderGit Did you mean the Japanese ZERO ? ,
You could start again on the planes you once had ,that would be a challenge for you .

Re: AirFix & Tamiya Kits

Hi Eliza

The Zero was easy to find some others were harder as not done by airfix.

Start again?? you are joking-my eye sight is not 20/20 and my hands shake a little.

AND -they no longer cost between two shillings and seven and six

Re: AirFix & Tamiya Kits

The He 111 is a bit of a challenge-all that nose to do without a glue smear.
