Police chiefs are looking at recording misogyny as a hate crime – including incidents of men whistling at women.Forces are being asked to 'consider the case' for monitoring sexist abuse and harassment.
It means misogyny – defined by police chiefs as 'behaviour targeted towards a woman by men simply because they are a woman' – would sit alongside crimes where victims are attacked for their race, religion or sexual orientation.

This scares me, because it makes me think we are leading to a world where everything we do is controlled.We will become like robots, where we have no natural instincts, just live like a controlled piece of machinery, like in George Orwell's 1984!
I have no problem living by the laws of this land, but aren't the laws becoming ridiculous rules that prevent weak minded people from learning how to deal with real life?

Political correctness gone mad!There's a difference between a wolf whistle and harassment.
When I was young (millions of years ago) it was a compliment to have a bloke whistle at you. There was never any of this verbal harassment, just blokes being blokes.
Trouble is, they're trying to make one rule fit all so it's all black and white.
