I always wonder, that when a politician shortens his name, it's obviously to appear more matey to the electorate. For example "Call me Dave", David Cameron, and himself, Vincent Cable to Vince. A great loss to politics our Vince!? Nah, just other busted flush!

You've missed the `doctor` out. He likes to be called Doctor Sir Vince Cable on account of him having a PHd in economics.
