To add to that the light conditions in the station isn't the best. don't think even a shutter speed of 1/8000 sec would not be much help to "freeze" the movement
I even had problems with the same kind of shot with the Bullet train in Japan and that was in daylight.

Had an idea might be worth trying. Make a video of it then extract a frame from the video for the picture.

Had a go at mine to see the result,far from perfect but better than nothing
It shouldn't have been too difficult, the train wasn't going very fast, but trying to avoid focusing then the subject becoming out of focus, I rushed it and got nada.

Spot on- just take the instinct quick shot and be pleased if it comes out even a bit right right. I was pleased with this as a split second reaction with a long lens, panning and focussing on hounds running through the woods.
