Re: Christmas Markets

Bath wasn't very good, Bristol has a German one I believe. I quite fancy Iron Bridge as it's Victorian and I could wear my bustle and a cape and muff! I don't think I would spend the money going out of the country, I wouldn't be able to afford to buy anything! When my sister lived in the US we went a couple of times in October and found their shops were full of amazing things.

Re: Christmas Markets

My sister always goes to a couple of christmas markets, she likes the one at Lincolnand goes every year with one of her work friends.
Ive not been to a christmas market in yrs myself. I used to go to a really lovely one at Blickling Hall in the grounds of the house which was so gorgeous and really had a festive atmosphere to it with all the stalls and sweet smells of the refreshments

Re: Christmas Markets

Birmingham has a fantastic Christmas Market each December, if you would rather stay in the UK. Easy to get to, too, especially now the New Street Station complex has just reopened following its £multi-million refurbishment.

Tess, I don't know where Iron Bridge is, but there's Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre at end of November I believe.
Another Victorian one at Melton Mowbray and another at Matlock early December and yet another at Worcester.

You could bustle away with the best of 'em.
